So after installing the 1903 update, all my old saved themes from previous default to the light theme for some reason, despite me using the dark theme. Is there a way to change this? I don't really feel like having to create a new theme when I should be able to just update it. I know there's a way to update the .theme file but I kind of want to maintain the original date of the file. Of course once I edit it, it'll change. I've tried changing the colors in regedit and they just put the theme as custom.

    Does anyone know a fix?

Why are you screwing around with Regedit ? Personalization / Colors gives you everything you need.

Because it doesn't edit my theme. instead it just defaults to a custom one.

Can't you simply use a tool like BulkFileChanger to copy exact file creation & modification date & then copy them back to modified/new file?

For modifying dates and attributes, there's "Attribute Changer". Nifty little tool.
