Windows 10 SL x64 ( UEFI ) very slow with 4GB Ram ?

    It should just run fine.

    SSD instead of HDD will improve the performance significantly (compared to a 5400rpm HDD), more RAM would too, but 4GB ram is still a normal amount of RAM.

    You could disable the automatic maintenance tasks, which run in the background, but that will mean that some of those tasks will have to be run manually from time to time, like autodefrag.

    Thanks for the responses.

    Automatic Maintenance is scheduled at 2.00 AM & applied to wake up the system for that. Of Course scheduled task(s) are there.

    For using x32, I would have to switch from UEFI ( GPT ) to BIOS ( MBR).

    Also 32bit doesn't handle 4 GB of Ram.

    Say what processor, what RAM, what HDD and what graphics are there.
    And that too could be said, what "very slow" means.

    Any other reports required ?

    2. Very Slow : Even opening a single window

    3. An all fresh authentic install with all windows updates.
