My DL seems ok but I will have to do a clean install to check it out. Well..it spent 5 minutes checking for updates..guess I have to try this again and see if I can bypass that this time. Nope, can't bypass it..this one is strange. Finally installing.
Geez...I do now...next time I'll actually read what it says. I guess it's because I saw 141 all over vnext that I just "ass-u-me-d" that's what it was. The good news is that it was such a dog installing that it didn't get far enough where it wasn't able to restore my vm guest install of 135.
yeah, well i have to admit at first that i was all exited thinking it was a new build as well,i'm still on 10130 and there are a few bugs that are really pi..ing me off.
Initial post (murphy7) > exe patch hashes (Spoiler) > Windows10_TechnicalPreview_x64_EN-US_10041.exe is missing! (the torrent magnet has it, is ok) Anyway, I've installed W10TP x64 into Virtual Box without issues... but I didn't activated.
The x64 iso is in the 7z file. archives have their own methods to ensure it's not corrupt and you can verify the extracted iso with the hash I listed.
Just wondering, why would someone want to collect these compared to the RTM ISOs? I mean especially considering what MS has said how much data and telemetry they collect with these TP builds.
