Hello Everyone, need some help to remove packages of windows 10 like superfetch and more I used msmg toolkit but I was able to reduce the install.esd to file up to 2.9GB but I recently visited a website they have created the Windows 10 ISO with a size of 1.2 GB so needs some tutorial. I have also tried ntlite and need some preset file if anyone has it. Please help me, dude.
There is other presets on NTLite forums where people have removed more things. I also chose to not add winre.wim to install.wim when I use UUP Converter, that makes the install.wim a bit smaller. I don't need WinRE since I have Win10XPE on another internal SSD.
With UUP>ISO you can select to not include the winre.wim inside the install.esd, it saves approx. 350MB.
I have been using the Windows 10 Pro 19h1 (Lite) b1903 2.54G version by Nicky from teamos. I have had no problem with it. Just go to teamos and search for "Windows 10 pro 19h1 Lite"
the smallest i seen is adguard thin PC X86 and is 2.39 GB....good luck finding something smaller that some what works.
For some unexplained reason he wants the install.esd to be 1GB, a not chopped 18362.175 AiO en-US x86 install.esd is already 2.17 GB (2,333,626,406 bytes). My x64 install.esd (same indexes) = 2.90 GB (3,119,584,486 bytes)
It might be helpful to know why he wants to get so small. Probably not a good idea in the first place, but why? A matter of bandwidth for someone else to download or ?? It's hard to find USB flash drives smaller than 16 gigs (32 gigs much more common), so why do you care?
The OP only mentions chopping, not obscure installs, and probably only ARM editions can be used for what you suggested.
