Windows 10 Upgrade

    I have Windows 8.1

    I started the Windows 10 download last evening, and it still says “Starting download... Once the download is complete you can start the upgrade or schedule it for later”.
    It has been more than 12 hours since I started the process. Is this normal?

    sounds like this is downloading in the background to do an upgrade,
    big download and long time to upgrade when it starts
    if it has not started downloading yet it will be when M$ is ready.
    if you want quicker do upgrade from disc/iso

    If I make a DVD from .ISO can I run it within Windows to do upgrade

    You don't need to make a DVD. Just mount your .ISO and execute setup.
