Want to test Windows 10 in a VirtualBox. What's the best way to activate apart from installing Windows 7/8/8/1 first then upgrading?

Use the official Evaluation version from Microsoft. Perfect for testing in a VM. Activates online immediately.

Guess one bad thing about not activating windows is you can't really change themes and other stuff, but yeah if your just toying around with it just leave it or like above with that link sounds a good way to test it.

You totally can in Evaluation version. It's full featured.
