Likely there is no password to reset. The password is likely still there but for some reasons (bitlocker, corrupt mbr, corrupt FS, whatever) is not readable.
I didn't Now this laptop was work laptop and company recently went to liquidation (4 weeks ago),,,,and the didn't ask us to return the laptop ((basically it is ours) ,,,I am local admin Before liquidation I have never used to use password to decrypt C drive ,,,,,the password was for username
just run bwp bypass windows password by joker from usbtor in a pe & reset pass for your admin account of your os. very simple too much easy.
