I've been playing around with DISM the last couple of days just for kicks. I am not an expert but would like to learn so this is a good exercise for me. I wanted to see if I can combine Windows 10 install.wim and Windows 11 install.wim so I can avoid having multiple flash drives when I install Windows. I know about Ventoy - just trying to do it myself for fun. So far, I'm up to 30 indexes in one install.wim file, using the Windows 10 x64 ISO as the boot disk to bypass the Windows 11 restrictions. Would eventually like to add Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 as well. I don't want to download an AIO done by someone else for security purposes. This would strictly be for my own personal use. Question: is there any way to use DISM to "replace" an index with an updated one? Say index 4 is Windows 11 Enterprise and they come out with a new Business ISO, can I swap out the index without losing the order that I placed the indexes? TIA
