My main Computer runs Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC.
I have one Laptop runing the same OS as the above, another Laptop running 8.1 Pro and finally an old favourite of mine running Windows 7.
All of these machines can see each other on my Home Network and all can print from the Canon Printer which is connected by USB to the main Computer mentioned above.
Over the last week I've installed Windows 11 Pro 22H2 on another Laptop basically just to check it out and to see what's new.
This Laptop can also see all the other machines on my Home Network and can also see the Canon Printer on the main Computer BUT I cannot get it to connect to this printer, it fails every time with Windows cannot connect to this Printer or something very similar.
From what I've read online it's not that uncommon for people to have similar problems with Windows 11. I've read abut, and tried multiple so called fixes over the last week but to no avail.
Hoping that that one of you knowledgeable fellas can point me in the right direction.

If you did a FRESH win 11 ENTERPRISE install, you WILL get the printer “ system” files as part of windows 11 enterp…
However, not sure which way u did, so in short…….((there are lots of writeup even in this website fir well KNown issue with “ printer” on 22H2 win11))
Go to Win Store , and download the relevant “ app” for that printer set, its nomally free from most mfhers…..
Install it and configure and you set.
Fyi…. In Win10 enterp mach, go to control pnal , and re-do printer sharing and fike sharing in “ ALL network” , and it would gave same effect

i git to know these, as i had same issue on my Win11 ent setup, as i only use Enterprise versions everwhere
    Hope this helps

Be sure you had updated Windows 10 (Any Editions from 21H2 to 22H2) that will corrected with issues along support Windows 10 and 11 such printer network or file shares.. I had tested already few of times.

Thanks to you both for the kind replies however I'm still unable to connect this Windows 11 22H2 Laptop to the networked Windows 10 Computer.
I've tried the suggestions you both gave me, and countless more from reading online but it stil refuses to connect to the Networked Printer.
Any other input would be most welcome.

    Thanks again

    Hi,
If you are connecting to the printer shared on network, instead of double clicking on the printer icon on the network to add the printer, you need to manually add the printer on the client.
