    Hi Folks,

Hope that IF you could help me please????

    I have a HP Officejet 6950 All-in-one Service printer.

It is connect onto my one computer with Windows 7.
And it's connect online, also. GREAT!!!
    Wireless printer!!!

And I have THIS computer with Windows 11.
Since THIS computer tower does NOT have
a printer connect. But I can send the printout
onto the printer in the same room.

However, when I found the HP Officejet 6950 wireless
shows on Windows 11, it asks me for a PIN!!!!!

What and where can I find the PIN for
my HP Officejet 6950 wireless printer???

I looked for it and it's NOT included with it???

Do anyone here who have a HP Officejet 6950 wireless printer
experience and knows the PIN for it????

I know my wireless network passwords.
But does that means the same thing for PIN???

I know that I can send the printout from one computer
    to a printer wirelessly.

2 years ago my nephew did it here who sent a printout
from his iPhone to my HP Officejet 6950 printer.
I gave him my wireless network passwords and it worked
    for him with his iPhone.
That was cool. That was in 2023.

I thought of it the same thing with Windows 11, today.
But apparently it asks for a PIN. NOT a wireless passwords.

Anyone knows??? But it's fun with HP Officejet 6950
    wireless printer.

I know it can be done. But I don't especially like PIN!!

    Thanks,
    Eugene

Maybe run the printer driver installer from HP on the win 11 system?

No again the printer itself is connected onto the other computer with Win 7.
And I'm on THIS computer with Win 11 and wanted to printout PDF onto
the printer in the same room. And when I found HP Officejet 6950 wireless printer
LISTED on the list of wireless devices available for Windows 11. But Win 11
asks for PIN from that HP Printer.

    GOT IT????

Wireless from one computer to a printer in same room.

So not connected to the actual pc you want to print something from.
Install the driver and see if it resolves the pin problem.
Listen, i maybe have bad eyes theses days, i can read the ridiculous large and bold txt, do you?

    Hey guys,

    Allow me to clarify.

When I try to add device to have Win 11 to reach out to my
HP Officejet 6950 wireless printer that is connected to the
other computer with Win 7, to clarify it that
    Win 11 says.

"ENTER WPS PIN FOR YOUR PRINTER".

    Below it says.

"You can find WPS PIN on your DIRECT-A3-HP Officeject 6950
or in the info. that came with it."

I forgot to add "WPS PIN" in my last previous post.

But where to find the WPS PIN???

    Thanks.

It's probably in the printers control panel or the info sticker on the printer.
I just googled "hp officejet 6950 wps pin" and there's heaps of info - including youtube videos....

    @cruznpc77

Seriously take off the bold font and lower the text size cause it just looks retarded and begging for attention by doing so

Are you discriminating people with low vision loss???
IF you don't like it, don't say anything about it.

    Thank you.

Uh, Sagio, thank you for your message.
I wish that IF you could help IF you provide me
in a way for me to send you LOTS of screenshot
that I took pictures with my iPad.
I wish that IF you could PM me on my account
so that I could somehow send screenshots that
would describe the problem trying to connect to
a printer across the room wirelessly.

As for the WPS PIN, I can't seem to find it where
on my HP OFFICEJET 6950 printer.

However, I could send you the barcode numbers
IF that might help you find it?????

Please PM me IF you can.

    Thanks,
    Eugene

Just to add, you do not need to download any app to connect to your printer.
    ;)
