I want to set up a Windows 2 go drive. Will KMS activation as in the sticky activate it so that it works on 3 different computers? Windows 8 enterprise x86 will be used.
Done, and successful. I wish there was a way to get Windows 8 Pro installed on the external media though. Or if there were a better way than KMS to activate.
Does it have activation issues when switching computers. Is it really Windows 8 pro 2 go or is it the old hack method for Vista / 7 on usb.
My w2G installed on a (WD passport) 500GB external USB3.0 drive has never asked to be activated, it installs updtes fine & works on several of my PCs.
No activation issues till now , but I have used only on my 6 systems, so don't think there will be any problem , just improper shutdown and Chkdsk problem a couple of times on my little old usb 2.0 segate drive, will buy a new usb 3.0 and try to see the difference, also if the issue is solved. pro can be installed only with manual method (dism+bcd edit)
