    Hi Guys ,

    a question

i'm using windows 2003 r2 print server and i'm using GPO to depoly the printers , it's working great however all users that also have a Local Printer and needs to be deployed with a Shared printer cant use the local , meaning after the user login the Shared printer has been deployed and the local printer get deleted.

How can i avoid that , some of the local printers are connect using USB to the local computer

Thanks For the Help in advance

    Hi,

While it's not true deployment, I've always had good luck using prnmngr.vbs (Google it) from a logon script when configuring printers in a 2003 environment.
