This is what I tried as well from the CD and it didn't work then I thought that CD only supports windows Visat and Windows 7 then I tried below : But issue I was not able to extract .exe intel LAN driver to a folder to reapply the same procedure in the quote above Regards
I just downloaded intel exe and extracted with 7z just fine..try it or just run exe file by double left click..
This is one didn't help to install the driver , although I tried that couple of times. I am going to try that , but if it is .exe can you extract it ? Regards
Yes I just did it..Just make sure if you are running 64 bit OS you have 64 bit driver or 32bit if that is OS..
Yes you are right, because it is a fresh installation and I I fogot to install a zip program, once I installed one of them I was able to extract .exe file. Now still facing same issue can't get the proper driver to be installed. While If I try from the CD that came with motherboard to install the driver the below message pops uo Code: Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are presented in this computer
Before I installed windows 2008 , there was windows 7 installed and the LAN connection was working fine, means it was already enabled in the BIOS, although I had checked that after installing windows 2008. Yes there is. I will try again and update you now Reagrds
If you can not extract driver, then it is definitely time to give up on Windows server. Learn to walk before you run! sebus
