I'm trying to deploy a remote access plan for my company. We have Windows 2012 setup and I've been reading up on the steps to setup direct access and remote desktop services. What I need clarification on is the setup: is it possible to set up remote desktop services (with Office 2013 and a SQL based app) such as a terminal server AND also setup direct access all on the same server? Also, how would a tablet such as a iPad be implemented in a Windows remote access scenario?
Hi there. Windows 2012 Server doesn't allow the Remote Desktop Session Host to be installed on the same server as the DC and limits you to 2 concurrent remote connections. MS is basically forcing customers to install a separate server for RD on their network. I am trying to find a termsrv.dll patch for 2012 server. Let me know if you find anything.
