    Hello,

So my friend has 8GB ram installed in his computer, but since yesterday only 4 was visible.
After some research today we found out that his PC was hardware reserving the other 4gb's
Any idea what could cause this. Its not the memory limiter from msconfig.
    Thanks in advance!

Did your friend has any Virtual Machine installed? If so, check that it's set to temporary Memory Allocation while that VM running and and not use permanently allocated Memory with that VM and also that those vm isn't set to Auto Start at System Start!
