    Already posted more than once since few days, but your post has 1 more update, the KB974179, what is it for?

    thoughts:
    if Windows 7 hasn't yet been released to the public, and in 1 week we got already 9 patches, what will happen in a couple of months !!!! till october? it's better than M$ prepares SP1 for windows 7 for the 23rd of october :D

    Do not repeat do not use these updates. I have had countless bug reports from different people. Just not worth it. Updates are due to be released on the 6th of August....

    Question

    Did you check that updates? In the x64 folder is 1 file more, than on screen... :)

    Yep, one is v2, so you don't need the older version ;)

    KB974179 contains 2 updates for Windows Explorer =)

    Come on people,
    will somebody die without that updates,
    cool down, take it easy, wait for the official updates,
    if you don't install them your lifes will probably stay ok,
    why you make problems to yourself installing something what is not officially confirmed?

    I completely agree with zoks. Its better to get the updates once m$ releases them.
