    Hi,

I've got a simple question: for how much time will still working the windows update service for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008?

What I mean is...I know, January's 14 will be the last update for both os, but, from that date, how much time Microsoft will keep working the Windows update (as a service, even not having new releases) for both os?

    Thank you very much.

Thank you @Enthousiast, I'll take a good look at your thread.

The fact is that I have to create several virtual machines of both os, so I need to know for how much time the service will be working. That's the reason for ask it. I want to make it including all the updates till January's 14 (at least).

    Again, thank you very much.

I think WU Will Work Forever As Long As Update File Available On M$ Server Until Then We Can Download All Update Except Esu Update :) ;) ^_^
