    Hi all,
I've installed Windows 7 Professional, and now I changed my mind and and decided to upgrade to Ultimate

The problem is, it won't let me use Anytime Upgrade without an upgrade product key, and when I try to upgrade directly from the CD it tells me to use Anytime Upgrade.

    Am I screwed?

theres really nothing much different between pro and ultimate.just do a reformat and put ultimate if you want no keys around for upgrade.

Have you tried using the leaked Lenovo key?

My question is, how can I upgrade without a reformat? Like, keep all settings and applications using the upgrade function. Whenever I try it, it asks me for an upgrade serial.

In the upgrade paths released from Microsoft, they do not include Professional to Ultimate. Sorry yet you need to format....
