-Windows have problem with some usb devices system interrups proces get high cpu usage and the device stopped working because that system can't shutdown normally. This bug is pretty random sometimes it happens 4x on a day other times on time in the week.
monitor freeze is fixed in some "unoffical" update, however not totaly, but its much better, while before update you got that freeze basickly every time, with patch you get it maybe once every few days.
its difficult to know if its drivers related with some of my problems but, i cant burn cds with win.7 only dvd's, get a Lba error after first min or so and the drive os ok cos its the same one i had with xp and vista also printer error although it prints ok i get an error box twice before it prints and again same hardware used with xp and vista was ok also sometimes if the pc has been on for a good few days, it seems to swallow up a lot of memory, which seems to cause a problem when trying to shutdown, it just hangs on shutting down ive had a few other thing happen im not happy about but ive forgot what they were now, ill have to make log of thing that happen
On a MAC, these would be known as 'design features' I'm not surprised it has some bugs, most of those listed are resolved with the update packes people have on here, so at least they're known issues at Microsoft.
Had these two. First one also occurs without taskbar autohide btw Fixed it by disabling hibernate (duhh) The other one I fixed by changing icon again with iconpackager. Same result as the reg tweak u provide.
Sometimes (the problem also existed in Vista) my wireless internet driver's gone. My laptop detects an ethernet card, and can't find a suitable driver. After uninstalling this card and a reboot my wireless internet works again. Really strange problem, and I'm almost sure it is related to the OS.
well no, because im not sure which update exactly is (im installing all, and then eventualy when more updates will come to WU/KB ill reformat) some update released from 20th oct - 6th november
And another bug in Win7? I cannot start Windows Backup application. When i try to start it, receive this error message:
Do you use some sort of download manager by any chance ? Also check if "Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)" is by any chance enabled. if so, disable, or better yet set to manal.
Yeah.I didnt remember the exact name Indeed.Actually i have never had problems with superfetch. Its at option 3 in registry Actually i rather disable Indexing. The Windows Search has gotten so fast imo that personally i see no reason to keep Indexing running in background. Another one: *Many-many ppl have reported problems with Network connection being lost on restart/sleep resume.Seems that enabling-disabling Network Adapter brings it back
I have it at option 2. Works more efficiently, and faster... Yeah, don't use indexing either. It became a real dragg after a while.
