Windows 7 Context Menu

    That looks similar to my context menu (sans AVG and Bitlocker)
    What do you see that is wrong with it?
    What do you think it should look like?

    So only your context menus are in basic style, and all the rest is win7 theme ?

    try reapplying the win7 theme...

    if you look closely you'll see that it's not the same as the win7 context menus.

    Ironic, but this has just happened to me 5 minutes after reading this thread. Installed ExtractNow with the context menu integration and on some context menu's it went exactly like it did in the pic. Uninstalled ExtractNow and it went back to normal.

    Ahh, I do see the diff now. I guess i would have noticed my own if it did that as well.
    From a quick glance at his basic menu it didn't click at the time I posted.

    :eek: Could you explain more what's the differences between a good context menu and yours? I tried for 10 min to see, but no clue... :eek:

    I think you should uninstall AVG ;) It should help :D

    same thing happened to my context menu when i installed norton 2009 on win 7....when i uninstalled norton it became normal....try uninstalling avg and see...

    tyvm high =P...i will try out that guide when i get home...i know its just a visual thing but ehh lol....it bothers me having such a nice looking ui and then have that basic menu for some things lol...if it doesnt work ill just uninistall avg...with windows 7 i havent gotten one virus in all the months ive used it lol ty again everyone for all the help =P

    Or just use AntiVir. It is better than AVG and it did not jack up my context menu once installed.

    well i fixed it a different way....i just used the context menu editor from windows 7 manager and it fixed it right up as soon as i removed everything that pertained to AVG lol..i could have just uninstalled AVG but im stubborn lol
