Can anyone tell me were can i get Sony Vaio VGN-CR343N.... i ve tried but cant get anywhere... wud someone help me plis
plis plis plis ............... have u looked at sony's website or google ? Btw, its please Asian website ofcourse Normally you can just install windows 7 and see whats missing and then as we all should and do (also recommended) . visit each manufactur for sound, network etc..
Have you already installed Windows 7? If you have not, go install it now. It looks like your graphics & audio are intel, so the drivers are probably already included with Windows 7. If they are not then go to Windows Update, should give you the drivers you need. If that don't work then come back here and we can help find them.
And make sure to leave internet on so it will get those drivers for you at beginning of install...lol
Vaio Hello, what are the drivers you are looking for? IMHO the FN & S drivers right? If thats the problem there is a solution, I have the same problem before but everything is working fine now on vaio vgn-z11xn but it also works on other models.
nong_mai_cha 1.Windows Update can help - you just need to check for new updates and windows will install all updates which are needed for your hardware. 2.Device Manager - double click on unknown device and click on check update drivers/automaticlly search
Forget it, not in case of Vaio, Win7 will work no problem but he also need to install special drivers for the vaio as wel otherwhise his function (FN) & programebble (S1 S2 etc.) keys wont work. And not to vind on the official Sony downloads site to. And last but not least you have to install them in the right secquense as well. 7 in total + 2 for the cardreaders and the camcorder program, and in some cases also the soft for the fingerprint reader. I kno Wat you gus are saying..... but i ve tried a lot still i am not not able to get the drivers especially fingerprint sensor and the web cam... pliz guys anyone cud give me a link to where i can find the drivers necessary.... yhank you guys for your help...
Vaio VGN-CR series normally came with Vista Home Premium and there is NO driver update for Windows 7 at eSupport of Sony. However, you can use vista driver for Windows 7. With Vaio, the most important thing is the procedure to install their confused driver and software so that function keys such as Fn, S1, S2 etc can work. I already sucessfully installed Windows 7 for CR220E and SZ740 as follows: 1. Clean install Windows 7 2. SONY Programable I/O Device (if present) 3. SONY Firmware Extention Parser (if present) 4. Chipset Inf 5. SONY Share Liabrary 6. SONY Notebook Utilities or Event Service ... Other driver and software. Good luck

Have you actually tried installing the drivers in windows 7 most should work, also not bad for your first post hijacking someone else's thread and asking for driver links.
ya most of my components are working. for the camera i got the vista driver from one ftp url which i cant post here as i dont have enough privilages. vista driver works for the camera. and sorry if u think i have hijacked the thread i think it would be better to post my problem in same thread rather than starting a new thread for same genre of problem.
