Thanks, ill give it a try when i can Maybe you can have a seperate downloadlink for windows updates to reduce the size of the kit?
Well thanks for the kit.. but why the hell am i suppose to have the 64bit aswell? ive understood it creates an AIO but i already have an AIO dvd.. cant it just move on and integrate?
What happens when \MS catches the remove WAT and fixes it? What will happen then? I have heard that the SP1 pre alpha already fixes the things that remove WAT does. How will we fix it after SP1?
I think M$ will definately go after activation schemes that modify system files - BUT - the worst that will happen is you will have to re-install and activate by some other method. If you are not protecting the data you have that is not part of the OS and is important to you then you are a sitter for the next calamatious malware outbreak anyway. So, if M$ patch any activation workaround it is a small inconvenience to me - there are alternatives like loaders, BIOS mods, buying genuine eek:) and Linux - so what is the big deal - it is only Windows after all
Well, in theory, a loader is DEAD easy to patch: Either remove the grldr, or run bootsect, or do both/ RWAT doesn't change the activation files as such, it edits the permissions on them.
This looks and sounds great but is it always so loooong working been almost an hour?? Anyone else hanging at "working..." ? been like 2 hours now
@Hazar, If I remove the setup complete and remove wat from the scripts directory this would give me an ISO that automatically checked for SLIC being present and installing the appropriate key and cert? If no slic were installed it would then install without a key and behave like an unactivated retail installation? I ask this because I personally don't need remove wat (although I appreciate the work) but I would like an AIO that automatically installed the appropriate key and cert without all of the OEM bundled crap. Although this may not be the use you intended it would be very helpfull and appriciated. A loader/patch free OEM AIO that would default to retail if no SLIC were present, I could then use other methods as required if the situation demanded.
Thanks Phazor, I was just wondering if we could make a way cool, auto activiating multi-oem, AIO DVD.
I was just trying to download the file, however it's around 50MB, how come it's so big? what's included inside?
