Hello forum, tried to search but didn't find win7 enterprise download link . BTW, does enterprise version come with WMC at all ? cheers
Google the name of the iso. Code: EN_WINDOWS_7_ENTERPRISE_WITH_SP1_X64_DVD_U_677651.ISO That will bring you a link to google drive. other mirrors verify your download. SHA1 should be Code: A491F985DCCFB5863F31B728DDDBEDB2FF4DF8D1 Go to Control panel- Programs and Features, click on "Turn windows features on or off" in the left pane, then make sure WMC box is checked.
1st post in forum, YAY! I just downloaded the ISO file above & installed it. After installation, I ran Windows Update and it asked me to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1. I thought the ISO image already contained SP1? I don't mind having to install it via Windows Update, but it's a task I didn't count on having to do, as I was under the impression that "WITH_SP1" in the name implies that SP1 is already applied to the image. Anyone got the same thing?
It's not the whole sp1. They recently grouped KB2533552, the servicing stack, with the sp1 on WU. If you install KB2533552 the sp1 nag will go away.
Hi murphy78, I am actually looking to slipstream all updates since SP1 onto that Enterprise ISO. I read somewhere that KB2533552 (and some other packages, don't remember, something like Windows Management Framework, have to look it up) will not work with slipstream. So if I understand you correctly: - Slipstream all updates since SP1 - Install Windows - Run Windows Update (WU), install KB2533552, ignore the SP1 package on WU. - Restart, then the SP1 entry on WU will go away Am I correct?
KB2533552 servicing stack for win7 is online only, you are correct. Yes, sp1 listing should go away after that. That's why it was listing it as like 3 megs instead of like 100 or whatever. EDIT: 2533552 integration advice: I use setupcomplete.cmd and put the msu file in the same scripts folder. My setupcomplete.cmd for non-activated indexes looks like this: Code: @echo off pushd %~dp0 :KB2533552 wusa Windows6.1-KB2533552-x86.msu /quiet /norestart :CLEANUP cd\ rd /q/s %WINDIR%\Setup\Scripts
Hi, sorry to the OP if we're going a bit off topic. But can murphy78 tell me how to use that piece of code u just presented? I'm guessing it's during the slipstream process. I don't use any tools to do my slipstreaming. I just use dism to mound and add-package.
