    Hi
I used this beta version for a while, certain a week ago, it started asking me for the key, which I try to input the one once given by microsoft and nothing, now I have a in the bottom of the screen a message saying windows is not genuine,Plus it keeps shuting down every couple of hours, which is a pain!
I have downloaded the supposed rtm version but I am afraid it will not work because I previous had the beta version, also I upgraded from vista, can I still go back to vista and do I do it?
Help please , I am a newbie in terms of this O.S stuff.
    Thanks

Well my friend, your RC version is expired and this was expected.
The better to do is backup all your data and perform a clean install with the RTM.

There is no known way to stop the 2 hour shutdowns, since the beta expires in march so you need to get rid of it. Doing an upgrade microsoft purposely blocked is just asking for problems. Backup your data, and do a clean install with RTM. It will work fine even though you used beta. Then use dazs loader to activate. Tada!

    PS:Read the stickies.

    Thanks
sorry my ignorance, but to save the modified file, after I extract the iso to a new folder( in the some computer but in other drive, can I start the set up from here or is it better to burn a dvd?), open the file in note pad, modified and do a save as with same name and location as the old one, correct? and related to keys, does it going to ask for any, do I have to apply a loader after the installation?
    Thanks once again

Its best to burn the W7 image to a dvd (or even better create a bootable usb drive if your motherboard supports booting from usb) and boot from it and do a clean install there. When it ask for a key leave it blank, and uncheckmark "Activate automatically when im online". That will put it in 30 day trial mode. Once in windows run dazs loader and you should be permanently activated.
