    Hi

When I connect a USB flash/pen drive to my desktop or laptop Windows 7 event viewer shows 3 or 4 error logs:- event 11 The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk2\DR2
I looked on Goggle and it appears quite a common issue so does anyone know if it's really a controller error or could Windows be reporting a false positive?

    Thanks

If pen drive is seen in "Computer" then its false positive, if not go to device manager and uninstall the device, then do a refresh and wait. :) Or it can be false positive if using chinese pen drives(unbranded) :D that are usually received as gift from companies. I'm using only branded pen drives like Sandisk, Kingston and so on, so haven't seen it even once.
