ESU program is for companies, not for private users with one or two devices. If you think the size of the companies which more than 100 devices or more then its lots of money for additional updates. ;-) Its not a good investment for an OS that reached EOL.
For me as private user i will keep Win7. No problem for private users. I answered from the point of view of large companies that will pay lots of money for the ESU program (Win7) that reached EOL.
I do not think abbodi1406 bypass will work, the key is been checked and this is a random key for each user/machine, I added it anyway in the opener.
Just signed up. Seems like a very knowledgeable forum. I will do just about anything to keep my Win7. But I don't want to do anything to risk what I have. The packs I saw in orig thread are reg updates before installing the ESU, right?
You may want to wait to see how all this pans out in Jan. Before the 14th. I love my W7 too but I know that eventually I'll have to do something, even if I can get a couple more years out of 7 the third party software will stop support too. Currently the LTSC option looks good or go with a *nix distro
My humble question is: the 3rd party companies and the other software developers will still support windows 7 after this end of support on 2020?
Some will, some will not. It depends on how their software is demanded by W7 users. But surely many will start dumping software development for W7.
