Thanks I grabbed the windows 11 emoji & some webpages & even apps that weren't displaying emoji are now displaying emoji again so thanks greatly appreciate this. Also as RobrPatty says the office 2016 one isn't working. Though eh sure the windows 11 emoji is more updated & more reliable then the office 2016 emoji. So think you really don't need it, unless you do & can install both?
use emji font from first post are recommanded because most up to date , windows 10 emoji font missing emoji from unicode 15 @Hasefroch your built was same from my post ....
Thanks for this, but why did you rename it? The correct name is "seguiemj.ttf", like posted by Hasefroch. Not "seguiemjw11.ttf". You're not supposed to rename fonts all willy-nilly, but use their correct official names instead or you might get into trouble with duplicates and such. Also I don't think the "FontSubstitutes" registry key works like you posted as all the other entries look different. Does an entry for Segoe UI Emoji even exist under FontSubstitues in Windows 11? I currently don't have W11 VM ready to check, but I doubt there is one.
my methode force windows to use news emoji and keep genuine windows 10 emoji ( only disabled with this trick ) safe and works fine
