Eldiablo, Just a question, I have chosen on the installation the Portuguese language, also my Windows 8 is the US edition, in order to have full Portuguese language, do I need to install firstly the MUI pack base on Windows 8; Does it work like a MUI Pack, as it chooses its language based on the default windows language? Thanks
Yes, they are MUI packs and you can't select a language in the games themselves. If you want them to be in a language other than English, you need to install a language pack matching the language you chose when installing the game and use it as your display language. Totally unrelated, but, I updated the Vista games installer because its uninstaller was leaving one file behind in x86 systems (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Tinker\TinkerEditorGDFResource.dll)
Thank you so much for making these games available. I have been trying to get the old Windows games forever and was about to give up on them.
Would it be possible to make these games portable somehow? It would really be great for those times where you don't have admin rights.
I assume these games will not work unless some patching is done to the system? If you could research this and possibly find a workaround, I would truly be grateful. At work, for example. At a friends computer, as another example. Might be good to keep these on a USB stick and run them from there.
