    Hi,

Last time that I've installed Windows 7 in my PC (less than 1 month) I saw that Windows Update fetch all updates except the updates of Office 2016.

Did anyone have this issue? I'm asking this because I have audio issues in Windows 10 and I thinking to go back to Windows 7 or 8.1.

    Thanks in advance!

And how Office 2016 update? Or simply Office 2016 didn't update in Windows 7?

Well, If I have audio issues I'll install Windows 8.1.
    Thanks!

    Follow these steps:
Step 1: Type Windows Update in Start menu or Start screen search box, and press Enter key to open Windows Update window.
Step 2: On the left-pane, click Change settings link.
Step 3: Under Microsoft Update section, check the option labelled Give Me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows. Click OK button.

Now you should receive updates for Office2016 in WindowsUpdate.

C2R install of Office doesn't use Windows Update.

Yes, you use C2R version not Volume Edition. MSDN is retail (c2r)
EDIT: I can confirm that Office 2016 didnt get updates in Windows 7
