I do not know how to activate a system for example a desktop that came with windows 7 pro. Because its COA sticker has been damaged. Using a tool like rw everything I can see the system has an slic in bios.

Now on newer windows 8 systems the key is embedded in bios and is really easy to pull and activate.
so for older windows 7 systems with No COA is there a way to activate the edition that the pc shipped with? And I only want a solution that is genuine activation. No windows loader.

I am looking for a genuine solution. Oem activation. The pc came with windows 7 when it was originally sold by the manufacterer. And due to how old it is the COA is faded.

Since your computer already has SLIC 2.1 in the bios, Windows Loader will only install a matching certificate and OEM:SLP key into the system for Windows 7 Pro. It doesn't modify any system files.

So that will be just like genuine activation. Grub will not be installed? And this system can upgrade to Windows 10 pro and be genuine?

    Yes!

Keep in mind that the Cert and the OEM:SLP Key must match the brand of those machine (if all is original)!
