I installed Windows 7, now I can't see Ubuntu to boot from.

I would like the windows boot menu, a black screen and I can choose from Ubuntu or Windows, instead of Ubuntu's crap purple grub boot loader or w.e its called.

How can I restore ubuntu? The Ubuntu partition is fine but it wont show in my computer, only showing in disk management.

I would know how to do it, but the Ubuntu partition seem's.. locked?
In disk management the only option I get for the 20GB ubuntu partition is: "Delete"
All the other partitions work fine!, so how do I "unlock" the partition?

It's fine now.. I installed EASEUS partition manager & found out that somehow my linux partition (20gb) went from 11 GB used to 20GB full.. so I just formatted it, wiped it and now I will be installing my OS again.

You should have been able to restore everything using your Ubuntu Install Disk. Just do a google search for:
[h=3]Grub (how to repair it and how to remove it)[/h]
