Windows 7 Installing Date?

    Hello, All!

    I want to see the date on which my Windows 7 was installed.

    Actually, I installed Windows 7 couple of months ago, so, now, I have forgotten that month and date. So how can I find this?

    Type systeminfo in elevated cmd prompt or start search box

    I did same but a CMD Windows comes and after some minutes, it disapears. So no result comes. What to do now?

    do it from the CMD prompt

    After this, if I re-install Windows, then which date will come there? of previous Windows? OR Newer Windows that I've done? Suppose first it's coming 5/7/2010. So after re-installing today, will it be showed 9/28/2010?

    of course - so if you install 5/7/2010 it shows that date and if you reinstall in 9/28/2010 < It shows this :eek:

    This will give you just the date

    systeminfo | Findstr /C:"Original Install Date:"

    What does it mean? I couldn't understand it properly. Please explain it little bit more. Write the command separately please.

    no need to write command separately
    just copy and past into cmd window.
