well for sure i would be using loader instead of bios mod. i can't afford to risk frying my motherboard.
what are the buttons suppose to do i see activate with information and activate without information and able to choose all those brands. i dare not click on any of them yet.
you get megan fox with activate I just tried it...says not yet available silly and a picture of her lmao
This is just a demo until all the necessary info comes out. If you click either activate button you will see a nice picture of the beautiful Megan Fox.
Let me say being a 'bios killer' LOL... Our Award and AMI mod methods are mature. Andys mod. tools are great!!! For Phoenix I've developed manually methods which will be the same. If you have a motherboard of a major brand like ASUS it is absolutely no problem to use a mod.... It's all up to you! When we've developed the first mods, I tried my own mod methods at my own Asus board. Believe me sometimes I've got almost a heat attack My first mod took me 4 hours to make, it was March 2007!! I'm still using this board, never had to re-program the bios chip.
yen, I have read the topics about bios mod under vista, now can u suggest me which asus mobo i should buy I am thinking abt p5q series.
it's a very good choice, quality and performance and i have a P5Q DLX + QX9650 + 8GB DDR2 and there is none problem with "slic" modding of this board ... it takes approx. less than 5 minutes ... waiting now for Asus slic 2.1 , certs and oem keys ...
This is just a DEMO, he still working on GUI, wont be available until needed files and info become available..
Hello, I wonder what's the difference between a bios mod and a loader? They all do the same thing? :/
The loader simulates a SLIC entry. Loaders are easier for MS to disable/detect than a "real" bios mod, though.
i think both method got their own advantages and disadvantages. btw is the vista loader already disabled by MS or is it still working for vista?
Some of the first loaders are now detected by MS because they load some kind of drivers to emulate slic table and thus modify the system with adding some files that an update can disable or detect ... some latest loaders based on "Grub" are always working with vista because they emulate the slic table before the boot of windows and are more difficult to detect by ms update ... bios mod is the best mode for me to avoid ms detection ....
