Hi all, first post here, I hope you are all well! I have a Late 2011 MBP, It is installed with osx mountain lion. I have used the boot camp setup to install windows 7 ultimate. Now this all works perfectly. The problems arise when i Install windows Loader, After the reboot it then gives me a couple of black screens. First Black Screen Says: About the Partition Information and then options for if your harddisk is larger then 1tb (which it isnt!) Second Black Scren Says: Options if you have a recovery partition Tools to use (EasyBCD, Active Kill disk, Gparted) How to boot back into windows Repair you computer from CD Type bootsect.exe /nt60 sys /force Third Screen gives a grub command prompt. Now i have repaired the install and the command gets me back into windows, but it is not activated when i do this. So i tried loader again an got exactly the same thing. Any one have any ideas? Thanks
Hi, I am still at screen number 3. Can I ask you how you did it to run the CD from grub command prompt?
I don't have a solution for you, but for anyone with a Mac that comes across this thread and wonders if Dazs' Loader works on a Mac with boot camp - I just tried it and it was completely effective and trouble free. What I did: Windows 7 ultimate had been loaded a year ago, suddenly "not genuine" due to blacklisted Lenovo key. I followed the instructions here:thread "1904 not genuine after kb971033 update read this" 1) changed the key did not bother to re-activate 2) ran mbr regenerator 3) ran Daz's Loader Windows is activated and working perfectly. I can boot OSX or Windows without any problem, and nothing about the dual boot was disturbed by the fixes. Hope that helps ..
