Windows 7 modded BIOS lost by flashing unmodified BIOS

    Please help if you can.

    I thought my old modded BIOS might be corrupted so I flashed it thinking I was using the same file but instead I used the original file. Windows reported non-genuine status.

    I have a backup OS image file made prior to the mistake. If I reflash the BIOS with the modded file then do a system recovery with the OS image will i need to reload the certificate and license key or do they reside in the backed up image?

    All you need to do is re-flashing the modded BIOS. Both certificate and key are still in place.

    Thanks for the reply. I installed the Daz loader and that solved the problem. Later, I flashed with the modded BIOS and still no problem.
