I have Windows 7 Ultimate N and i found OEM key for this can i activate with loader? Is loader have slic for N editions?
My bet is that it's not OEM SLP. I don't think they ever made any keys for it either as OEM's didn't sell systems with Windows N editions.
Doubtful that an oem:slp key will be found after all these years. If the OP has found a valid oem-nonslp or system builder key, it can be installed with the slmgr /ipk xxxxxx command, no matching slic and cert would be needed.
a simple script, that replaces 3 security files ,with 3 from a non "n" version is enough i believe , I have been using an installation of windows 7 n basic for photo editing for several years , it is correctly identified as 7n and works fine with windows update ,downloading the correct updates without problems . I use it on a PC that has a bios update , the script swaps the 3 files and installs both cert and key , you have to be full admin to run it successfully ,but the result is a fully activated windows 7n, and it shows as "activated" without rebooting too!!!, I believe that if you just change the 3 files and install a cert that , a loader should work with it on a non bios mod PC, but I have never tested that method .
my sincere apologies Tito, I got the script from here (on this very forum ) a while back and have participated in several threads on the subject .but feel free to delete the thread if it is not allowed . just trying to point out the possibilities . thank you and,Sorry .
A bit of a frankenbuild, importing license files from the SPP folder of the corresponding non-N edition, then using slic based activation. I expect it does little harm, but it might make more sense to simply install the corresponding non-N edition
Oh yes true that it's not real OEM SLP what i have. No one mind buys the N, maybe 0,7% of enthusiasts in Europe, OEM's didn't sell systems with Windows N editions, so i used full version , I dont use WMP, so just launch "Turn Windows features on or off" and deselect IE and Media Features. Done deal.

The last time i try these E editions i got trouble with SP1 installation, microsoft just released image without SP1, otherwise no problem with the Loader for activate. windsman.
Yes, these editions were released for European anti-trust regulator but it's not clear (not all european country), even if we 've got OEM-KEY, this is not a recommended edition, the BrowseChoiceUpdate (KB976002) seems to have take advantage (decision by the European Comission in december 2009), but now i can confirm that update are not delivered anymore on new installation. windsman.
not to mention when you install an "E" edition, there is no browser period. So you need to either have one ready or learn the FTP in command prompt to DL Firefox or Chrome etc, and you also better know the location url to the file or you will be using another system to find it lol
More, if you live very far from other people and you life depend on your internet connection and you don't bring any usb key or something else you 'de better install normal Windows 7 Editions windsman.
A little googling reveals that MS pulled the plug on the E editions in late July 2009, and the Windows 7 launch date was in October 2009. So it would seem that nobody ever actually purchased one of these editions, and that only crazy collectors may have copies. There are probably some of these crazy collectors around here.
