Windows 7 Enterprise says near clock Windows 7 not activated I tried using Daz loader but it said remove other modifactions I am helping a friend out and he does not know what other modifications have been done to activate it I think it was OK until we cloned to a new hard drive. is there a way of finding out what method previous owner did to activate it. since it's Enterprise its not for end users
Anytime Upgrade won't work unless the presently installed version is activated, and can't do anything with Enterprise. It also can't "Downgrade". It can go Home ->Pro->Ultimate, but can't go Ultimate->Pro->Home. Enterprise is functionally identical to Ultimate, but limited to Volume licence activation (MAK or KMS). The solution is to use MTK per Windsman's recommendation (to achieve KMS activation), or reinstall a version that can be OEM-SLP activated (Home/Pro/Ultimate). Daz will only activate versions that can be OEM-SLP activated: Home/Pro/Ultimate. A machine running Professional can switch between Volume(KMS), retail, and OEM (including SLP / Loader).
