    Hi,

I was wondering if I could download a Windows 7 Professional VL OEM dvd iso, and then use my MSDNAA key. I don't know if the MSDNAA key is retail, oem, or what.

    Could someone please help me.

    Thanks!

*The reason I ask is because my University will be making the download available on the 15th of August, and my download speed sucks at home, so I thought about downloading it at work with higher speeds in advance*

Should work, but the best is to try yourself.

MSDNAA keys are retail and would not work on oem

The only difference between Retail and a so-called OEM version is the Ei.cfg which changes the EULA to oem instead of the default (retail).
    All other files are identical.

so it should hypothetically still work? or will I have to change something in the iso, ei.cg file?

As far as the difference is only with the EULA text file - it should work without issues (even probably without changing the earlier mentioned cfg file).
However to be 100% sure - you can confirm by yourself :)
