Windows 7 on Acer One A110

    Hi,

    I've got Windows 7 Ultimate running on my wife's Acer One A110.
    Runs pretty smooth, however it does take ages to shut the computer down.
    • Aero enabled
    • Security Essentials 1.0 installed
    • 1.5 gigs of RAM
    • DAZ's 1.6.7 Loader
    • Hibernation support disabled! (8GB SSD - 1GB free)
    How to disable hibernation support: command prompt -> run as admin

    So, you just want to give this information or do you have a question?
    I got an Acer Aspire One D150. With 'only' 1GB Ram. But it works perfectly with Win7. No Problems at all, even with Aero enabled.
    And Shutdowntime is normal, maybe it's because of your SSD? [I've got a 160GB HDD]

    Just sharing the info.
    I'm also guessing the slow shutdown is because of the SSD.

    I've got Windows 7 Prof. LITE running Acer One A110.

    Mod cf 300x 8gb (3 gb free)
    1.5 gigs of RAM
    Aero enabled
    bios 3110 slic 2.1 (ACER)
    Disable paging
    nis 2010
    Activate OEM ACER 2.1 (manual)

    Very good!!!!

    how does or would it run (windows 7)on an acer aspire one 751 with intel atom z520 (1.33ghz) processor, 2gb ddr2, and 250gb hdd? or do yall know of any one that has done one?

    If it runs smooth on my A110 then it should run great on your 751. ;)

    cool, i was wondering cause i have two, for the kids, and i already have 7 on my laptop with hazars loader. i was just kind of in the air about putting it on there netbooks and having it run smoothly. they come with vista home basic, i hate it, lol.
