Just got the new Macbook Pro Retina Mid-2012 10,1 Laptop. Did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and tried to install BootCamp 4.0. It gave me an error stating, "The version of Boot Camp is not intended for this computer model." Looks like Windows 7 on the new Macbook Pro 10,1 is not possible. I thought BootCamp 4.0 is the latest version and yet it does not work. Can anyone help?

READ: "The version of Boot Camp is not intended for this computer model."
Go to APPLE and ask for a version of boot camp that works with your model.

You spent 2.5 grant and didn´t check compatibility  :aglerks:

Actually I spent way more than that! I got the 16GB RAM with 512 SSD and 2.6GHz.

I found my version of bootcamp through the link below:

Normally, the only official way to obtain the correct BootCamp version for your MBP is through Mac OS X. Since I hate how Mac OS X works, I decided to convert my MBP into an almost 100% Windows machine.
