I had purchased a used copy of Windows 7 Professional Upgrade which I turned around and resold. The buyer had notified me that he had activation issues and received the following activation error message: . Since this version is retail, it is supposed to have retail (FPP) activation code. Also I had used Windows7.PID.KEY.CHECKER.v.1.0.1.rar and it reported the the key as retail and the license channel as retail. So is the buyer dishonest or does the PID checker not correctly report the license channel, which should read as VL?
If the PID Checker said Retail then it was a Retail key. VLKs are displayed as VLKs, including info on what particular sort of VLK it is.
