Hi there, been trying to get Windows 7 Professional E, but after looking, it looks like the only way is using SmartVersion with SFV files (would link but can't because of post count) but I'm not sure how to get this working?

I load up the 7600_x64_clientE_EN_Professional_VL.svf file into SmartVersion, and when it asks for a base, I picked my ISO (Tried many ISOs, en_windows_7_professional_with_sp1_vl_build_x64_dvd_u_677791.iso, X17-59465.iso, X17-59186.iso and a couple more which I've deleted to save space) and it gave this message:

    542dN.jpg

which I press OK for, I then try to extract the professional E version and it doesn't work

    542jg.png which leads to 542mf.png

have I missed out a step in the process or am I using the rom ISO?

    Please help!

place your source ISO and svf file in a folder together .. next create a folder in the 1st folder name it extraction .. Right click on the svf file and choose "open" .. next after 20 secs Smartversion opens right click on ISO in right column and click on "extract" and point to the extraction folder you created .. several minutes later you will find your ISO in the extraction folder .. now check the hash of the ISO for integrity

any troubles or questions post back

I think this was the post I was following on one of the posts. When I try this (the extraction) it gives me the two errors above, am I using the wrong ISO or something?

I think I may of got what this program does wrong, I'm trying to get a version of 7 Professional E and thought this program would change the version simular to it to the designated version? e.g Professional to Professional E?

Is this the right program? If it isn't, how can I get Professional 7 E?

For clarity I have no problem with torrents (magnet) as long as the person downloading is aware how critical hash check is .. The reason we create svf or xdelta files is it cuts down on storage space considerably but more importantly for those who pay for download bandwidth by the Mb it saves them considerable $ .. Another reason svf and xdelta files tend to stay up longer .. And lastly for all the green minded we have way less cpu usage in download and upload as well on defragging less storage and scanning less space :Lighten:.. So the message of the day is learn how to use svf and xdelta

they are alive(most of them), you have to wait till the seeder comes online ...

And sorry if i jump into your thread, as long i understood right you want this:

    Code:
    x64 ProfessionalE
    sha1: 4bad4f82d0f81577f042b4e220037cdeb885207b

To achieve that iso you have to start with:

    Code:
    1. having this iso: sha1 326327cc2ff9f05379f5058c41be6bc5e004baa7 (Ultimate)
    2. open the 7600_x64_client-clientE_EN_Ultimate.svf and extract
    7600.16385.090713-1255_x64fre_cliente_en-us_Retail_UltimateE-GRMCEULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso
    3. open the 7600_x64_clientE_EN_Professional_VL.svf and extract your target file.

    hope it's useful,
    cmos

Downloaded the Ultimate ISO and everything worked great! Thanks very much!

Just for future reference, is there any way of finding out what ISO a SVF file needs?

    yes,
    1. open the .svf file
    2. and then select source or target on the left pane
    3. on the right pane select the file, right click and choose "File properties..."

see the foto for this specific case:
    Untitled0.png

and for another .svf file, let's call it "model"

Of course this depends entirely on how well the patch creator named the file :D
