hmm no. I don't think that's the case. I am sure it says on their blog site that the MSDN subscribers get it about two weeks after they announce it Final RTM.
There are differences between MSDN subscribers and TechNet subscribers? I heard that TechNet should be quicker than MSDN...
why thay sad: after RTM announcment OEM will get it after 2 days... so we get it then.... it will be 100% stolen from OEM like all games are
TechNet Subscriptions will be able to download Windows 7 RTM in English on August 6th and remaining languages by October 1st.
According to Winbeta, Microsoft will likely announce that Windows 7 has reached "release to manufacturing," or RTM, status on Wednesday (today?), sources said. The company would neither confirm or deny that Windows 7 will RTM Wednesday; a spokeswoman on Tuesday simply repeated the company's earlier pledge that it would move the new operating system into its final pre-sale phase sometime "in the second half of July."
I'd say some thing odd is going on within M$ know one knows what the other one is doing ? we are told to only trust the announcements on the windows 7 blog which clearly posted entirely different dates.
You have to remember too all our systems are infected with vicious malware from downloading these leaked copies. That is at least what MS says MS is trying to keep the hype up so they can have cake and ice cream once they announce the RTM. They don't want anyone stealing their thunder.
if microsoft announced RTM availability for OEM's as july 24th, today will be the day the RTM is completed, which means a leak can happen ANY time today. Microsofts win7blog stated that 2 days after completion the RTM will be made available to OEM's as per postings on their site. Today's going to be a GOOD today i think. keep your pants on -- any time from now through friday we'll have a final OEM RTM iso with official MD5, it just won't come from technet -- it'll be likely from the scene, leaked from an OEM release.
