is it true that you cant do win 7 slic? Someone on here modded an hp bios for me a while ago and told me it was ready for win7/vista/xp oem. I want to know how I go about making an oem cd that will work like my vista oem. I downloaded an oem hp vista, and do my current slics with hp.. Any info on this subject would be nice.. IE: now to get the 4 Win 7 torrents found on her to work with oem bios mod like with vista

ok wow U remember that beast. She is still using it, but having trouble with vista. So all i have to do is put the hp cert on the disc and away it will go? what about doing an asus board.. How do u add the same table u made for that pc to others so I can use the same cd? Will the auto tools for ami and award do this for me>? Also is the above method the same for making different oem vista cds? And Finally which clean oem torrent from the ones listed would work best for the program you gave me?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions. If this works good, I will end up purchasing a real copy of win 7 for legal reasons :)

PS: I see that it says win 7 cert installer. Did u make one for vista? Never actually made oem cd. I downloaded the hp oem vista.. SO I'd like to learn if its not hard. But If you made a tool to do it why not :)

look in stickies in vista section of forum info there on how to make your own OEM dvd only takes five mins to make :) always try and use an untouched dvd if possible.

It has Vista option also...Run it and see..it is a harmless script and very hard to make a mistake..

For ASUS boards, you can use the AMI or Award tool by AndyP for this purpose..the phoenix tool is good for the majority of other phoenix bios..your was just a huge PITA..

Bottom line..the tools we release here are very safe..just be sure you get them here and not in the wild...

    Win7 Loaded. Problem

Ok, So I took the iso I downloaded, made the PID.TXT file as it says on stickey, as well as the oem filder with the cert for asus, which is appearently what they did when they modded my bios (I'd like to learn how to do slic 2.1) anyways says 30 days, And asked for a key durring install. What did I do wrong? wrong cd?

When I tried VISTA_7_CERT_installer I did asus and samsung. When I rebooted, it made some changes ect.. but still 30 days. Why didnt the procedure using the pid.txt and oem folder work?

The cd is retail when I click info
