Current assembly WINDOWS 7/SERVER 2008 R2 BETA-1 SP1: 6.1.7601.16559.win7sp1_beta.100506-1349 - previous build 6.1.7601.16560.win7sp1_beta.100524-1800 - actual build in win7sp1_beta branch We have reason to believe that this is the assembly of 24 May and will become the official BETA-1 SP1 build for WINDOWS 7/SERVER 2008 R2 platform, wait and see, wait remained not for long

I recently got some serious problems with some 'hotfixes' because I can't stand out of their way. Damnit! Yesterday, I did a fresh install and it's all back to normal condition. That's the way how you learn for life!
My current build: 7601.16556.100421-1510; Service Pack 1, v.172 Previous build: 7601.16537.100327-0053_Update_Sp_Wave0-B1SP1.0, v.153 I had no trouble installing & running either build in Win7 Professional VPC One bug/problem w/ the current build I had was that in Task Manager the previous build showed all 4 cores for my CPU but the current build only shows 1 core.
