Ahead of Windows 7 SP1 RC refresh Build 6.1.7601.17125.101029-1605 the RTM Branch Build of the service pack’s is also leaked in the wild and offered for download on peer-to-peer sharing networks. The company only confirmed that the first upgrade for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is scheduled for general availability in the first half of the coming year. Various sources have indicated that Microsoft intends to complete the RTM work by end of December and make the public availability of release of Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 in the first quarter of 2011.
