Windows 7 SP1 RC Build 6.1.7601.17125.101029-1605 Leaked The refresh build of Release Candidate of Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) has been leaked and is now available for download in the wild from various illegal third-party sources including BitTorrent trackers. According to third party Source, the refresh build of RC of Windows 7 SP1 is Build 6.1.7601.17125.101029-1605, which indicates that the release was signed off on October 29th, almost two months ago. Ahead of Windows 7 SP1 RC refresh Build 6.1.7601.17125.101029-1605 the RTM Branch Build of the service pack’s is also leaked in the wild and offered for download on peer-to-peer sharing networks. The company only confirmed that the first upgrade for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is scheduled for general availability in the first half of the coming year. Various sources have indicated that Microsoft intends to complete the RTM work by end of December and make the public availability of release of Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 in the first quarter of 2011.
Isn't 7 SP1 more or less hotfixes and updates only? So nothing too interesting tbh.. It's not like xp or vista that was totally broken before first SP
