You shouldn't have any problems with anything that worked fine under Win 7, SP1 is just a collection of patches.

Outpost Firewall Pro 7.1 (3415.520.1247) doesn't appear to be working properly with SP1.

I was able to run VMWare workstation. Downloading 7.13 just to make sure i have the latest version.

Installed SP1 from windows update. IE8 and Firefox will not connect to an HTTP site. Reset IE and still the same. Lowered security settings in IE and still the same. However they will connect to an HTTPS site with no problems. Uninstalled SP1 and no more problems with browsers.

I have 3 pcs running win7 sp1 from Windows Update ... one of my old laptops has an old Ati mobility 9600 card in that working fine under W7 ... since installing SP1 the card no longer works and i cant get it working no matter what driver i install ... screen used to be 1440x900 and Aero worked ... now its 1028x768 and Aero no longer works .... really pi***d off .
How do you uninstall SP1 ?

For people that do not know how to remove SP1.

Go to View installed updates right click on Service Pack for Microsoft Windows then select Uninstall.

    Try this.

Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then, in the search box, type Command Prompt.

In the list of results, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    Type the following: wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:976932

    Press the Enter key.
