    Thanks a lot for the links.As a novice I was wondering if it is possible to activate windows 7 with service pack straightforward with a loader.I mean is it the same as activating it from scratch? or it is not possible with sp embedded.I would appreciate any help.

    Of course you have to activate from scratch you are installing new operating system not updating it and yes loader works.

    Why you don't need to download other versions other than ultimate and delete ei,cfg file to give you all versions.

    I know, but I prefer to have these separate versions, if possible.
    I think after the sp1, remove ei.cfg file is not the same because it would have to do binary comparison of all the files ....
