i know, there's similar question from other user before..

    i just wanna make sure..

i'm planning to buy a netbook (lenovo s10-2).

n i read, they're planning to bundled it with win 7 starter edition..

so that's mean, it has slic 2.1, right..???

i can reinstall it to win 7 ultimate, with slp keys for lenovo, right?

SLIC 2.1+oem cert+product key = activation. Have to have all three to work.

If he's buying a netbook with Win7 Starter, he'll have the slic, it should have the cert (if not he can get it here), and the keys are listed everywhere...
All you'll need to do is install Ultimate.

Good point, he could probably just grab the key of his liking and past it into hte anytime upgrade and have Ultimate or pro in less than 10 minutes.

    They're all the same.
The only difference is the extra features.
