windows 7 ultimate 64, update error, 80072EE2

    installed clean windows 7 without any update, then installed SP1.
    when i click "check fo updates, error pops "wndows could not search for new updates" code 80072EE2
    tried almost every fix tutorial online, nothing works.
    help.
